Blood and Titanium is Now Live

Bionics Augmentation comes to Phoenix Point in our first DLC, available March 4, 2020

The DLC

New challenges await in our latest expansion: Blood and Titanium, available as you read this! Expand the power and versatility of Phoenix Point operatives with cybernetic augmentations. Unlock new abilities for your soldiers, new research projects, and new approaches to tactical combat. But beware: enemies will bring cybernetics to bear against your team, too.

Blood and Titanium also introduces a new subfaction of New Jericho, “The Pure”, former soldiers who have replaced most, if not all of their human bodies with bionic upgrades.

The Pure come with their own set of missions for you to complete. Discover their story with all-new in-game cinematics.

The addition of Bionics adds new possibilities for the player. With the appropriate technologies discovered, your soldiers can be enhanced with their own bionic upgrades, giving them improved combat stats and powerful abilities.

This comes at a cost! Bionics are expensive to create, and if damaged, need to be repaired. How much of your humanity are you willing to sacrifice to save the Earth?

Blood and Titanium also includes new weapons and equipment, such as the Zeus EMP Grenade - a great way to shut down those fast Pure soldiers and equally effective against vehicles.

Leviathan Update

Along with the Blood and Titanium DLC comes the free “Leviathan” update, which is available to everyone, regardless of whether they own the DLC or not.

Added in “Leviathan” are “The Forsaken, a subfaction of The Disciples of Anu. The Forsaken were exiled by the Disciples for taking the Pandoran mutations too far, mutating their entire bodies.

Both The Pure and The Forsaken can now be encountered in Haven defense missions and scavenging missions, sometimes accompanied by independent bandits.

“Leviathan” also includes a large rebalance to several systems in Phoenix Point, including:

  • Changes to most weapons and all damage types

  • A rework to difficulty levels making the easier difficulties more forgiving and the hardest difficulties more challenging. This should provide a range of difficulties suitable for players of all skill levels and experience

  • Changes to the Pandoran evolution speed and the Oneiric Delirium Index (ODI) - these changes reduce any sudden spikes in difficulty while keeping the pressure on

Plus other tweaks and bug fixes.

Blood and Titanium is on sale now on the Epic Games Store, and via our web-store as part of the Season Pass.
