October Development Update

This mid-month update is going to be one of our shorter instalments. With the release of Phoenix Point being less than 2 months ahead of us, we’re continuing to add the last of the content, bug-fix and polish ready for launch.

September Development Update

E3 and Beyond

Members of the Phoenix Point team attended E3 2019 in LA. There as an indie studio as part of the ID@Xbox Showcase, we had an updated build playable in the Microsoft Theater.

Along with our new demo, there were three announcements regarding Phoenix Point made during the course of the event:

  • Phoenix Point is scheduled for release on September 3rd 2019

  • It will be available on Game Pass for PC and Xbox

  • We were able to show, for the very first time our cinematic “Next Life” trailer.

Distinguished Havens

Havens are one of the largest and most important design elements in Phoenix Point.

Throughout the game, many battles will take place in the NPC Havens of New Jericho, Synedrion and The Disciples of Anu. In addition, there will also be Havens that are independent from these factions. A major consideration for the design team has been to make each faction's Havens look unique.
